How to use this site
Each lesson is a complete unit. Everything you need on a topic lives on its page: why a design was invented, what claim it can support, what threats it faces, and how the modern open-science era rewrote the rules. Read them in order — the arc runs from foundations to measurement to correlational designs to experiments — or jump to what you need.
Do the interactives. Reading is recognition; retrieval is learning. The quizzes, matching drills, and "interrogate this study" widgets are built for active recall — the single best-supported study tactic in cognitive science.
Look for the colored callouts. Go deeper boxes push past the basics, Update boxes flag where the science has moved (open science, the replication crisis), and Myth boxes bust the classics.
Every claim is sourced. Each lesson is grounded in the primary literature — the original studies and classic papers, cited in APA 7 at the foot of the page — so you can always trace an idea back to its source.
